Todd Dixon - Making the Most of the Situation, Part 1

I've known Todd Dixon, band director of That Wylie Band (TX), for some time and I have always been impressed with his band. The quality of their ensembles can be seen on the field and in the concert hall.

I caught up with Todd to talk to him about how the school closures have affected That Wylie Band and we talked about the successes they've had and the things they've learned.

We also talked about what happened when everything began shutting down as they were traveling to Indianapolis to participate in National Concert Band Festival. His example of 'making the most of the situation' is a must-see for every band director.
